“Finding What Makes You Happy”

Confucius says if we choose a job we love, we will never have to work a day in our life. We are even luckier if we can combine our passions with work as well. If you are into crafting and creating things, finding a job that merges both your passion with work will leaving you feeling content and satisfied.

In 2010, when I came up with the idea to start a parenting blog focusing on more than just personal day-to-day life, I knew I wanted to take it a step further. I wanted to blog about things I loved like recipes, tips, cleaning tips, must-haves, beauty, the latest trends… and I wanted my friends to join me in sharing what they loved too! I knew I wanted Modern Day Moms to be a fun place with a lot of great information and that stuck with us.

I am lucky to have some of my close friends in real life and my husband working alongside me and sharing this journey with me. I would consider blogging a passion and being a part of the Modern Day Moms community is something that I love doing. I don’t consider it work even though I spend many hours at my desk making sure it all runs smoothly.

At this point in my life, I can’t see myself doing anything else. I have found what I love to do and I enjoy doing it.
