“Spicy Roasted Chickpeas”

This recipe is pretty delish and a popular snack-time favorite in my house.

Chickpeas also known as garbanzo beans to confuse you even more, are a delicious tasty snack when roasted.

I was never really a fan of them until I got older and I’m not sure why. They are pretty tasty especially when roasted!!!

Spicy Roasted Chickpeas


1 can of chick peas (remember: also known as garbanzo beans)
1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, enough to drizzle on them.
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt (or table salt)


Preheat oven to 400f.
Mix everything in a large bowl and stir until well coated.
Spread chickpeas on a baking pan and bake at 400f for about 30 minutes. Stir and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes, or until chickpeas are crispy. Total cook time was about 50 minutes.
