“My Sister is my B.F.F.”

We’ve tried to approach the new addition to the family as not ANOTHER child but a best friend for our (almost) 8 year old. By doing it this way, she doesn’t feel like she’s about to be replaced but feels excited because she’s gaining a best friend, a sibling, someone who will (hopefully) want to play all the time. It’s cute and I’m excited to see our oldest transition into big sister.

Good idea, when we had our second we tried to get Zachy really involved. When we brought Jax home from the hospital we had a big gift for Zachy, told him it was from Jax because he was so excited to meet his big brother
