Today’s Beauty 411 is all about the Lip Tar from
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and let me just say, I’m obsessed. How fitting.

Lip Tar is a true liquid lipstick concentrate. Just a drop is all you need for opaque coverage.

Made from a blend of hydrating essential oils, Lip Tar delivers a satin-matte finish that feels as good as it looks.
Available in an array of shades from barely-there to in-your-face, the spectrum can even be widened when you mix and max the shades to make one specifically for you. This is a real popular occurrence. You can take a dark, mix with light and have a beautiful shade you can’t buy in stores.
My obsession with Lip Tar started when I discovered the hot pink Nylon color which is currently only available for a limited time at Sephora.

I wasn’t sure how I would like the lipsticks so I started with this one and loved it. I would mix it with a little foundation to mute the bright look when I’m not feeling daring.
Pleased with my purchase, I decided to venture out and get 2 lighter colors. One nude and one rosy peach.
Shown: Divine (rosy peach), Interlace (nude), Nylon (neon pink)

The texture is very smooth, it’s best to use a precision lip brush to apply the lipstick. It lasts for hours and I usually add a little chapstick over it. It’s not drying but it’s not super moisturizing after a while.
DIRECTIONS: Apply the tiniest bead of Lip Tar with our #010 Precision Lip Brush for complete, opaque coverage, either mixed with other shades or on its own. Applying too much product can result in feathering outside the lipline, so remember: a little goes a very long way!
