In honor of National Coffee Ice Cream Day on September 6th, we are going to share a few of our favorite coffee ice cream recipes this week!
Today, we have some of my favorite coffee inspired recipes!
I love coffee. I also love my coffee to be a nice shade of tan. I don’t like it black. I don’t even like it brown. I prefer a tannish white. Yes, this is a result of my creamer preference. My weapon of choice is: White Chocolate Macadamia. Yes PLEASE.
Below are some of my favorite coffee inspired recipes that you are sure to love! Creamer and all.
Hot-Coffee Ice Cream
This simple recipe is based on the Italian dessert called affogato al caffe, which means drowned in coffee.
INGREDIENTS
1 pint vanilla, coffee, or chocolate ice cream
1 cup strong-brewed hot coffee
1 splash of International Delight creamer, flavor of your choice
Biscotti, for serving (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Dividing evenly, scoop ice cream into four serving dishes. Pour 1/4 cup coffee over the ice cream in each dish. Serve immediately with biscotti, if desired.
Frozen Frangelico Coffee with Cream
Coffee and Frangelico, a hazelnut liqueur, are frozen and then topped with a billowing peak of maple syrup-flavored cream.

INGREDIENTS
4 cups strongly brewed chilled coffee
1 cup Frangelico
1/2 cup International Delight creamer of your choice
Splash of heavy cream or milk
4 to 6 tablespoons pure maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1
Stir 4 cups strongly brewed chilled coffee and 1 cup Frangelico in a medium bowl. Transfer to freezer until slushy but slightly frozen, about 5 hours, stirring twice.
STEP 2
Whisk cream in a medium bowl. Add pure maple syrup; whisk.
STEP 3
Divide coffee mixture among 4 large glasses; top with whipped cream, dividing evenly.
