Everyday Moms Motherhood Must Read Parenting

“Don’t Call Us Mommy Bloggers… Here’s Why”

This mom is doing her best.

No filter, just like the new direction I want to take this space. We should be allowed to talk about stress, anxiety, being overwhelmed, tired… along with all the good stuff.

I don’t want to give you 2 hour long recipes or crafts that we all know take more time than we have. I want to be real. I’ve struggled for months with the direction I wanted to go.

I’m in the process of making the new Modern Day Moms real + unfiltered and you guys seem to like the idea a whole bunch.

That is what we all need.

We are all trying our best and instead of trying to tell you where to go on vacation, I want to tell you how to get through the day with a screaming toddler. I don’t want to review cars or post perfectly edited photos everywhere (hey, if that’s your thing…. more power to you) but to me, that is not real life.

We are lacking realness on social media and damn it, it’s okay to have a bad day, it’s okay to fail at something, it’s okay to hoard wine corks for a craft you’ll never do.

The most views I’ve ever received have been from things talking about being real. So allow me to be that voice. You’re doing an amazing job and a bad day doesn’t make you a bad mom. Welcome to the new real + unfiltered Modern Day Moms.

So. Much. Yassssss! I love this! I am new to blogging and still finding my niche, and while I kinda post about whatever tickles my fancy on any given day, my content is real. I do not always have the prettiest posts, but my opinions are my own, and my stories are real life. Keep doing what you do! It is inspiring!
