After reading all the amazing reviews, I’m skipping a fancy bassinet and going straight for this
Fisher-Price Auto Rock ‘n Play Sleeper
.
From the Fisher Price website: Soothe, nap & play in one inclined sleeper with hands-free rocking motion. It’s an inclined sleeper and playtime seat in one, with music, sounds and hands-free rocking motion! An extra-deep seat helps baby sleep all night long. And with the push of a button, the sleeper helps baby relax with two different speeds of gentle rocking motion. Design is easy to assemble and lightweight for portability and storage. Additional features include a three-point restraint and linkable clacker toy. Seat pad is machine washable and dryer safe.
Easy & portable. I love having baby close and this is sorta perfect for that.

This seat was the biggest lifesaver with my son!
Loved this!!! Baby loved it more!
@mscmommylife That’s what I’ve been hearing!!! I had an old fashioned bassinet with my first baby but it was so big, bulky and hard. This is not only cheaper but seems more practical!
@alexandrarobertson7 Yay!
We didn’t have the auto rocker but if it was out when we got ours we would have! The rock and play was our hero! My son and baby sister both loved it!
@_lilciara The rock and play is just as amazing. My friend used it for her little one. The auto feature is nice but I don’t see myself using it at night, it’s LOUD. haha
I have one, love it!!
We had something similar for my daughter and she was not a fan for some reason. I heard so many great things and so many people tell me it was a lifesaver. Hoping it works for you!!
@sewtrendyaccessories Awesome!!!
@mrskdempsey Thanks!!!
We got one for my first son and he slept in it til he was way too big and we lent it to our friend and her daughter loved it, now we have it back for our next baby due in July. We love the rock and play! Wish they made it in adult size haha
@moderndaymoms why *this* rock n play as opposed to others by fisher price? I saw there was one for $89.99 versus this one which is $79.99 on bed bath and beyond vs another one for $74.99 with 25 reviews raving about it… I keep reading the descriptions and they all sound the same
@kimmipooxo Love it!!! Congrats. I’m due last week of June and I cannot wait!!!!
@42bruin TBH, I don’t see a huge difference in them. I think each products different functions. This one auto rocks when plugged in so you don’t have to mess with it. It also plays sounds. Some vibrate, some don’t do anything. It’s all in what you want. The seat is usually the same, it’s the features you’re paying for. :)
produces* @42bruin
Oh i see! Good to know about seat being the same, I kept trying to compare the measurements. Love your page BTW. And your review of products! Helps tremendously! @moderndaymoms
@42bruin Thank you ❤️❤️
My daughter used this and it was a life savor!! I will always recommend this
@moderndaymoms I had a regular bassinet with my first two. Babies seem happier to be a little propped up vs flat on their backs. It also folds up so well for travel. My son slept in it way longer than he was suppose to and I felt like crying we we had to put it in storage!
@moderndaymoms this is the best baby thing I own
@reneemb09 good page to follow!
@desireemacke you must get one if these! I’m obsessed! So is sky!
Used this religiously for the first 3 months! It’s perfect!!!!!
@smiaarnold yes, thank you!!

@tashinag @eliza_lopez @katia1993 justo lo q necesito para mi Daisy
@moderndaymoms loved our rock and play!! Even back before the automation
Loved ours!! I miss my daughter being able to be in it. So convenient. She lived in it!
And you can bring it anywhere
Love this! Need this! But is it always this close to floor? Can it be raised up to bed height?
@moderndaymoms
@luvjordjake duh I had one! Lol
@ashleyyk17 It’s actually not THAT low. I have a queen on a small base and it’s pretty flush with it.
@ashleyyk17 I think it depends on the height of your mattress. This is also perfect for other rooms in the house too.
Yes! They are so awesome in many ways! Kelli used one for JP for about 6 months until his chubby self out grew it. But he loved it and it was convenient for Kelli to just roll over and he was right there. I definitely recommend these over a traditional bassinet. Super convenient portable and cozy for the baby!
Good to know! Thanks;) @moderndaymoms
Our newborn sleeps in one and it’s awesome! Totally glad we skipped the bassinet
Jajajajjajajaja @yulieluis boba, eso es lo q yo he pedido para salome María José para q se arrullen solas, vos necesitas es una extensión de cama
