It’s funny how some days something so small could change a bad day into a good one. Usually it’s seeing my kids after a long day of work but in this case it was a combination of my kids AND opening a bottle of this incredible Pinot Grigio. I really didn’t know what to expect when I received my shipment of their wine. I had never heard of flipflop Wines before so I was a little hesitant on trying it. Boy did that change when I took my first sip. “Now this is a great wine!” I said.
Usually with wines I really can’t pick out all the different aromas and flavors. I’ll usually go with what the wine maker has posted on their labels since they obviously know more than I do when it comes to that. I will have to say that this is the first time I have ever had a wine that I could actually taste the flavors in. The citrus notes hit my palate first followed by a soothing taste of pear. This wine went perfect with shrimp tacos.
If you are having a tough decision on what foods to serve your wine with, check out the awesome informative label on the back of the bottle:
I find it hard to believe that the bottle only retails for $7.00. SEVEN DOLLARS! The quality of this wine is suburb so you are really getting one FANTASTIC deal!
As if this wine wasn’t great enough, check out how they are giving back.
