Okay, so am by no means an expert when it comes to wine, but I do drink a lot of it and I do know what is good and what is not. Being a mom is hard work and we all deserve to enjoy a glass, or two, of some great tasting wine.
I was given the opportunity to try some wine from Mad Housewife. It’s not hard to fall in love with this company. Not only do they have a great selection of wines, they also have recipe’s and some pretty awesome gear you can purchase from their website or their CafePress. Beyond the clever label, this chardonnay excitedly pleased my palate.
“Somewhere near the cool shadows of the laundry room. Past the litter box and between the plastic yard toys. This is your time. Time to enjoy a moment to yourself. A moment without the madness. The dishes can wait. Dinner be damned. Mad Housewife Chardonnay.”
My husband and I could not wait to open one of the bottles we received. We were BBQing that evening and decided the Chardonnay would go best with dinner. Let me tell you, we both looked at each other and said “wow, this is really good!” This Chardonnay is full bodied and completely smooth. This is definitely a wine that you can take with you to any dinner party and is guaranteed to be a hit. “An outstanding value in Chardonnay that’s bound to please! Flavors of melon, pear and Fuji apple abound. Hints of cinnamon, light toasty oak, and a creamy finish make it the perfect choice for dinner, fun events, or a simple moment to yourself.” And I couldn’t agree more! I’m a sucker for a great chardonnay and I am a little on the picky side when it comes to them. Mad Housewife did not disappoint me, this is truly a great tasting Chardonnay.
Not only did the Chardonnay taste great , the label rocks, the cork is fabulous, and it’s priced at an amazing steal! You can pick up a bottle for under $10.
** I paired the wine with some Sun Dried Tomato and Provolone Chicken Sausages from 5th Street Grill. I got these delicious sausages from my local Costco.
(A little on 5th Street Grill: All Natural, No hormones or steroids added, No antibiotics, All vegetarian diet, No animal by-products, and DELICIOUS!)
CHEERS!
