Mmm… Cabernet Sauvignon. Hands down my favorite kind of wine. So as always, I saved this bottle for last.
I love to prepare a good meal to pair with Cabs. Before I opened this bottle I started planning my meal. So like any person who had a bottle of flipflop wines would do, I checked the back of the label to see what I should pair my wine with.
Ravioli’s sounded amazing but unfortunately I only had stuff to make pasta so I went with that instead. And while we are on that topic, check out Jess T’s AWESOME spaghetti recipe. Now back to the wine… I got impatient as I was cooking dinner and decided to open the bottle of flipflop Cabernet. It makes cooking more fun anyway. I poured it in my wine glass and was a little taken back by the ruby red color of the wine but I took a big whiff and then gulped (yeah.. I don’t sip) my first taste. Wow! Now THIS was a great wine. Sure every wine I had tried by them was great, but THIS… now this made everything come full circle. A company that can land the delicious, full-bodied Cab is a company that I will stay with.
As I have mentioned before, I really can’t believe their bottles only retail for $7. SEVEN DOLLARS people! Their quality of wine FAR exceeds the price tag and you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for an outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon that will impress your guests, your husband and yourself, then please checkout flipflop Wines.
As if this wine wasn’t great enough, check out how they are giving back.
